Everyday Makeup in Under 10 Minutes

Mornings are rough for most people – especially people with kids to feed, dress, and get to school. I know from personal experience that it is nearly impossible to make yourself up every single day while a toddler is under your feet! I want to show you guys exactly how I accomplish a simple makeup look on days when time is running thin.

I used 10 products in under 10 minutes to achieve this look:

  • e.l.f. Tone Adjusting Face Primer
  • Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation
  • Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser in Light
  • NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder in Translucent
  • Maybelline Fit Me Set+Smooth Powder in Coconut
  • Milani Baked Powder Blush in Berry Amore
  • MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle
  • NYX Tinted Brow Mascara in Brunette
  • Loreal Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black
  • Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Balm

First, I applied primer to minimize pores and help my makeup stay put all day. Then, I used foundation to conceal any imperfections or discoloration of my skin. Dark circles and bags under the eyes can be covered with concealer – definitely a must have after a sleepless night! I set my entire face with a small amount of translucent powder to reduce shine throughout the day.

I used Maybelline Fit Me Powder in a darker shade than my skin in place of bronzer. I do this occasionally because this powder has a matte finish and it applies flawlessly! Next, I placed blush on my cheeks to brighten my face. Highlight is one of my favorite parts of applying makeup, but you can skip this step if you please. Eyebrows came next, and I applied only a thin coat of NYX Tinted Brow Mascara and then combed them into place with an eyebrow brush.

If I could only choose one makeup product to use, it would always be mascara! Loreal Telescopic in Carbon Black has quickly become my favorite to use. I like to curl my lashes before applying mascara to give extra length. For my lips I chose to apply a lip balm because this is what I normally do on a daily basis. If you want to spice this look up, you can always opt for a lipstick of any color you please!

This is my go-to makeup routine for days when I am on a strict time limit. You can substitute any of your favorite products in place of mine to personalize this look. I hope this makes mornings easier and much more pleasant for all of you!

With Love, Jeni
