Perfecting Your Skincare Routine

I write several posts about applying makeup, but I rarely ever mention one aspect of beauty – makeup removal. Cleaning all of the product off of your skin is so extremely important! You want to wash your face without stripping away the natural oils on your skin, so finding the perfect face wash is key.

With thousands of options on the market, where do you start with trying to find your ideal cleanser? I was recently sent a research article ( http://www.reviews.com/facial-cleanser/ ) that can help you do just that! The researchers, along with dermatologists and estheticians, identified the best cleansers in several different categories. The doctors and skin care experts pointed out the most beneficial ingredients, while the researchers put the cleansers to the test.

I, personally, have tried several of these face washes, and I use both CeraVe and Cetaphil on a daily basis. After reading this article, I plan on delving deeper into their top picks for face wash. I feel much more comfortable spending my money on products that I know will work and are good for my skin!

According the the article,

“Your face wash is only as good as the rest of your skin routine. Benjamin says the tools you use and your approach to the cleansing process are equally as important as the product you use. She recommends starting with a dedicated makeup remover, followed by a facial cleanser, and exfoliating with a weekly peel to slough off dead cells and reveal brighter, clearer skin.”

I hope this article brings some insight and can help any of you who may be struggling with perfecting your skin care routine!
