Simple Everyday Eyebrow Routine

Eyebrows come in many different shapes and sizes, but one thing is for sure: there has been a huge focus on eyebrows in the makeup community recently. Still, many people are unsure of how to fill in their brows properly. This means that people walk around with extremely drawn-on brows and others just don’t touch them for fear of messing up.

I personally feel that every person’s brow routine should be different in order to target the specific needs of each individual. I use pomades, brow gels, pencils, powders, you name it! I like to try different products for different looks based on exactly what I am looking to accomplish. On an everyday basis, I usually stick with an eyebrow pencil and/or a brow gel.

In this video, I show my simple everyday brow routine. I first fill in the brows with a pencil, then set them in place with a tinted gel. After that, I apply concealer around the brows to erase any mistakes and define them even more.

  • NYX Tinted Brow Gel
  • Maybelline FitMe Concealer

  1. Comb brows into desired shape.
  2. Fill in sparse areas/outline with pencil.
  3. Comb through brow with to smooth any harsh lines.
  4. Set brows in place with gel.
  5. Use concealer to clean up around brows.

If I have no other makeup on, I just use my finger to wipe away any errant lines. Combing through the brows will be the easiest way to ensure there are no harsh lines and to get the most natural looking brow as possible.

Hopefully some of these tips can help you with your own eyebrow routine, but remember that every brow is different! Do what you feel is right for your specific brow shape!

You are God’s masterpiece. – Ephesians 2:10

With Love, Jeni
